Portonovi Marina, the integral part of the luxurious Portonovi Village in Boka Bay, received the prestigious and globally recognized award of the Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), which put it among the world marinas with “5 Gold Anchor” accreditation.
This recognition is awarded only to the best marinas that fulfill the highest professional, operational and ecological standards in terms of infrastructure, as well as service provided to their clients.
On that occasion, the Manager of Portonovi Marina, Nikola Banović, pointed out that there was a rigorous assessment process for this award and that each part of their business was analyzed in detail.
“It is a great honor to have received this important award. When we started building Portonovi Marina a few years ago, we had a vision of becoming one of the leading marinas in the region. The “5 Gold Anchor” award is proof that we succeeded, and according to that, we will continue fulfilling the highest standards and provide our clients with the best possible service. This is also an additional obligation for us, and we believe an additional motivation to be better with each year to come,” said Banović.
Gold Anchor award system for marinas was established more than 25 years ago, and it is a global accreditation. The system with anchors is similar to the stars used to rate hotels. Each marina with “Gold Anchor” accreditation passed an all-inclusive external quality evaluation regarding operations and services offered to clients.
