This year, the Mimosa Festival will start on February 15 and last until March 3. Portonovi will be part of the rich entertainment and sports events program.
As part of the 55th Mimosa Festival, the traditional mimosa harvest and procession from Kumbor to Baošići will be organized on Saturday, February 17.
The procession with majorettes, Gradska Muzika (Town Music) Herceg Novi, Local Music Đenović, and trombonists will pass through Portonovi starting at 9:30 AM, with a short stop at Marina Square, where they will play a couple of songs.
After that, the procession will continue to Đenovići and Baošići.
One&Only Portonovi will transform into a floral fairytale from February 18 to March 3, thanks to works created by children from elementary schools and kindergartens. Young artists will have the opportunity to create dress designs inspired by mimosa, and their works will be exhibited in the lobby during the festival. A workshop for children will be organized in Caminetti bar, and they will decorate the flower dresses inspired by mimosa.
Fish Dinner will take place at LaVeranda Restaurant on February 23, starting at 7 PM. The guests will enjoy the finest traditional specialties and music performed by Castel Nuovo Klapa.
A picigin competition is scheduled for March 2 at Portonovi Beach Club.
