A Small Orange Festival will take place on Saturday, February 21, in Njegoševa Street from 10 AM to 4 PM, as announced by the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi.
This cheerful event celebrates creativity, community spirit, and kindness. On that day, Njegoševa Street will be filled with numerous exhibitors, while visitors will have the chance to browse handmade crafts and taste a variety of orange-inspired treats — from homemade jams and candied orange peel to cakes, desserts, and other sweet delicacies.

For the tenth time, a charity sale of orange cakes will also be organized, featuring creations by pastry chefs, restaurants, catering services, organizations, and individuals.
“If you’d like to share a traditional or your own original recipe, if you enjoy being creative and experimenting with new flavours in gastronomy and pastry-making, and if you want to support vulnerable members of the community while celebrating togetherness and all the beauty that surrounds us, Saturday, February 21 is the perfect opportunity,” say the organizers, NGO Ruke.
The donated cakes will be sold both by the slice and whole. Students from the Hospitality School SMŠ “Ivan Goran Kovačić” will assist with collecting the cake donations between 10 AM and 11 AM near the City Café. The action will be held as scheduled and, if needed, in an indoor space.

This humanitarian initiative is organized in cooperation with the Volunteer Centre Herceg Novi, and all proceeds raised by NGO Ruke will be directed toward two ongoing aid campaigns for fellow citizens, Marko Savić and a young woman whose identity is being withheld out of consideration for her minor children.
Designed for all generations, the festival offers a perfect opportunity to socialize, enjoy local flavours, and experience the creativity of the local community.
