Njegoš’s Feast for two at Ember Until November 18, Ember restaurant supplements its regular à la carte menu with Njegoš’s Feast, a special menu for two inspired by the cuisine of northern Montenegro. The menu is available to hotel guests and all restaurant visitors at a price of 80 EUR for two.
To start, a mountain platter is served with Kolašin cheese and kajmak, Pljevlja cheese, ajvar, beef prosciutto, and pickled vegetables, accompanied by homemade sourdough bread. For the main course, guests can choose between slow-cooked beef cheeks and whole grilled river trout. The menu includes a glass of selected Montenegrin wine or a welcome homemade rakia, and the dinner ends with a chocolate lava cake.
As darkness falls over Bjelasica, the view of the forest through Ember’s windows is replaced by the warm glow of restaurant lights, and conversations around the table stretch past dessert.
