The Tourism Organization of Tivat and representatives of Tivat’s tourism sector are attending the 47th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, where they are showcasing the city’s rich tourism offer at an independent stand: accommodation capacities, events, and the beauty of the bay – all presented through an attractive display and the use of modern digital technology.

“Already on the first day of the fair, we recorded great interest in our offer,” confirmed the Director of the Tourism Organization of Tivat, Nina Lakičević. “The Serbian market is very important to us, as these are guests who visit Tivat throughout the year. If we compare statistics from 2025 with 2024, arrivals from Serbia are at the same level, but we have 4% more overnight stays. Guests from Serbia choose Tivat both in the pre-season and the post-season.”
This year, a special highlight at the Tivat stand is the virtual tours, which allow visitors to see and experience very attractive parts of the coastline.

“It is significant that part of the local economy has joined us at the stand. The intention is for the private sector, together with us, to participate in fairs and take advantage of the opportunity to present themselves. Tivat has great potential, and we must make use of the connectivity provided by Tivat Airport,” Lakičević emphasized.
Part of the offer also includes numerous events that will be organized throughout the year. “We currently have an open call for support for events. Although we do not yet have a fully defined event calendar, what we can announce is the Wind Festival from April 25 to May 23, which will open with a concert by Bajaga and Instruktori. During the festival, a rich program in the fields of education, sports, and entertainment will be organized. Also, on May 21, we will have a concert by Colonia and Danijel Alibabić,” Lakičević stated, noting that the May Day celebration will once again be organized on Vrmac in cooperation with the Tourism Organization of Kotor.

In addition to cultural and entertainment events, Tivat can boast remarkable natural beauty. “Tivat has uniquely beautiful nature that we can promote in both the pre-season and post-season. There is the Luštica Peninsula, Vrmac Hill, the Krtoljski Archipelago, Solila, Pržna Bay… Hiking tours are available, and in the previous period we created an audio guide for the Luštica Peninsula in four languages. Something that received very positive feedback in 2025 was the Luštica Passport, which we promoted for World Tourism Day,” Lakičević highlighted.

The International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, one of the largest in the region, runs from February 19 to 22, and this year features more than 350 exhibitors from 18 countries.
