Dukley Beach & Bar officially opens its season on May 1st, bringing one of the most anticipated spring gatherings on the coast and marking the beginning of another dynamic season on the Dukley Riviera – the hub of beachside and gastronomic experiences on the Montenegrin coast.

This year, Dukley Beach opens in an even more refined and spacious setting. The area has been carefully expanded, offering more room to enjoy and a sense of ease that flows naturally through every moment. Mornings begin gently, by the sea and in quiet serenity, while the day unfolds through music, conversation, and lingering moments that don’t rush to end. At the heart of the experience is Mediterranean cuisine – light and fresh – complemented by cocktails and champagne that follow the rhythm of the day.
EVENTS
The season begins with the Burger Festival, taking place from May 1st to 3rd, already synonymous with the start of summer in Budva – but in a form that goes beyond the classic street food concept.
Over three days, the beach transforms into an open-air gastronomic stage, where burgers take on a new dimension through carefully selected ingredients and unexpected combinations, with a focus on rich meat specialties. From juicy beef options and double combinations to sophisticated interpretations such as the Surf & Turf burger with shrimp and chimichurri sauce, as well as versions with truffles and premium cheeses – the offer is rounded out with vegetarian and vegan options.
During the festival, the beach comes alive with a special energy, featuring DJ performances, live bands, and an atmosphere that brings together friends and families in a relaxed yet vibrant setting.
Later in the month, on May 21st, a traditional beach BBQ day party takes place, featuring a rich program that includes diverse food stations, a kids’ corner with entertainers, water sports, and live music – further confirming Dukley Beach as one of the central spots for the start of the summer season.

The Dukley Riviera brings together a variety of seaside settings into one cohesive and complete experience. Three beaches with distinct characters, five restaurants offering diverse cuisines, and a panoramic pool create a destination you return to—no matter your mood.
Starting May 1st, a complimentary water taxi connects Dukley with Budva’s Old Town, offering arrival by sea as the perfect introduction to the overall experience.
Your day can begin with breakfast and coffee at Benedict Café, continue at Dukley Beach or in the livelier atmosphere of the Laguna beach club and restaurant, and evolve through the flavors of the Japanese restaurant Sumosan or the Mediterranean ambiance of Dukley Seafront restaurant. Evenings bring a special energy with music and sunsets at the Infinity Pool Club, as well as the dynamic atmosphere of Shalom restaurant.
