Starting October 1st, Benedict Café in Budva opens a new chapter with a fresh culinary team led by Head Chef Alexey Melnyk and a fully refreshed gastronomic concept.

Warm, colorful, and effortlessly chic, Benedict is designed as a place where it is just as easy to linger over a long breakfast, a spontaneous lunch, or a seaside dinner. Its spacious interior, natural wood tones, lush greenery, and panoramic windows create a welcoming atmosphere year-round, with views of the Adriatic serving as its centerpiece.
The new culinary direction is crafted by Alexey Melnyk, who brings his expertise to Dukley following extensive experience at renowned restaurants in Tivat. Alongside his new team, he is developing a concept built on familiar European favorites reimagined through a contemporary lens—defined by vibrant flavors, high-quality ingredients, and a distinctive personal touch.

Mornings at Benedict remain a core part of the story. The updated breakfast menu blends timeless classics with modern twists: alongside avocado toast and signature egg dishes, guests can enjoy a truffle and stratfield omelet, tuna tartare breakfast, shrimp bowl, shakshuka with cream cheese, and syrniki with pistachio cream. Lighter options, freshly baked pastries, and desserts are also available for those who prefer a slower start to their day.

As the day unfolds, the à la carte menu takes on a different rhythm. Beef tartare, baked Camembert with pumpkin, and linguine with shrimp in bisque sauce pave the way for mains such as tuna steak and local beef filet mignon. Chicken wings with kimchi mayo keep things delightfully casual, making the venue equally suited for a friendly lunch or an informal dinner.

Rounding out the selection are refined desserts with a bold culinary flair, including caramel-poppyseed eclairs and cranberry-sesame tarts. This versatile offer allows Benedict to seamlessly integrate into an active lifestyle—whether it’s a coffee or light bite before pilates, a post-workout meal, or a relaxing pause after a spa or beauty treatment within the Dukley Resort ecosystem.

The new menu and the arrival of Alexey Melnyk preserve what makes Benedict beloved while taking its vision a step further. With an elevated culinary footprint, a new team, and an all-day dining experience, Benedict offers a fresh reason to rediscover one of Budva’s finest seaside destinations starting October 1st.
